Charity:water

We were searching for a great project to fund, and we are excited to announce that we finally found it!

Charitywater.org is a non-profit organization delivering clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries. Charity: water started in 2006 with a simple idea: everyone on the planet should have clean water to drink.

There are 800 million people on the planet who don’t have access clean water. It’s hard to imagine what 800 million people really look like, but one in nine might be easier. One in nine people in our world doesn’t have access to the most basic of human needs. Something we can’t imagine going 12 hours without.

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.

The project does not offer grand solutions and billion dollar schemes, but instead, simple things that work. Things like freshwater wells, rainwater catchments and sand filters.

A little help from everyone can improve lives of millions!
